Accents in the Garden is one of the places I go when I want to find beautiful and delightful creations for my garden. There are lovely statues, fountains, arbors, urns, bird baths, plant light tables, columns, urns and many more items that you won't find at your local garden center. It's hard for your home to be the "show stopper" of your neighborhood if it looks like every other house in your area!

I'm Sharon, and I started this website because my major passion in life is designing beautiful flower gardens and outdoor areas that please the senses and offer a wonderful escape from the daily pressures of life. I wanted to share that with my fellow gardeners and offer some free ideas on garden design and over 1000 free landscaping idea pictures to you at the same time.
I couldn't find the inspiration or the exact type of help I needed anywhere on the internet when I bought my first house and was new at all this, so after 15+ years experience, I decided to create a special site to share my hard-earned experience and knowledge with those of you who may be feeling the same way, and to provide all the help you need in landscaping your own beautiful garden. You can see the results of some of my work in the three photos at the top of this page of my own front yard.
Every morning, I go out and walk around and enjoy the sights and sounds of my "secret garden". The wind in the trees, the tinkling of wind chimes and the birds singing all around me make it my own personal sanctuary ... a place where I'm alone with my thoughts and away from the world!
I hope you enjoy sharing this site with me as much as I enjoy creating it. It is intended to be a long-term "labor of love", and I will grow it and add to it just like I do my own personal garden.
