PURSLANEPurslanes love hot sun and are brilliantly colored. They look great in a birdbath or basket. Pick a handful, drop them in a bed and they root! I "sink their pots"in a bed, spread them out and they fill a huge area. My kind of flower

DEEP PURPLE COSMOSCosmos are wonderful for cottage-type gardens because of their brilliant colors and delicate, "whispy" beauty. Absolutely stunning!

MIXED ZINNIASZinnias have great color combos and are stunning when you take one of the bright colors and use that as a contrasting backdrop or border flowers next to the Zinnias.

DIANTHUSThese are great accent flowers and come in several "day-glow"colors. I love them in a mixed pot or mixed in my beds. In warm areas, they perform as biennials and bloom most in the spring and fall.

RED & WHITE WAX LEAF BEGONIASBegonias are an outstanding background flower (almost like a small hedge) or striking in a bed all by themselves. They come in both shade and sun varieties, so make sure you're buying them for the proper areas.
